Say No To Pagan Valentine`s day
“Are you going to write something about Valentine’s day?
Please don’t, and try to blend in, in some way!”
He said: Till when are you going to swim against the tide? Aren’t you tired of being different?
I said: I am an open book and have nothing to hide. Aren’t you tired of being persistent?
Leave me and my religion be! I don’t need you or your heresy.
Don’t you realize, I won’t compromise. I am Muslim and will proudly remain, till the day I shall demise.
I won’t share your Valentine or trick or treat on Halloween. I am a Muslim, the proudest you have ever seen!
Don’t compare me to others with weak Iman, may Allah guide them back to their dignity.
I am a Muslim, happy with whom I am. I am proud with my Muslim identity.
Muslims, no matter which country you live in, Be proud of your religion!
Please don’t, and try to blend in, in some way!”

Regarding Valentine's day, a few non-Muslim pages have noticed the "No Valentine" campaign on many Muslim pages and accused us that we are a nation that doesn't know love because we only have hatred in our hearts towards others!
Islam did not come to deprive us from having any desires. Islam only came to manage those desires in their correct channels!
Love is a blessing of Allah when it is channeled in the correct way, and historically speaking, the non-Muslim Europeans learned the art of romance from the books of Scholar Ibn Hazm (historic fact), our poetry (fact too), and Romeo and Juliette is just a rehash of the older famous classical love stories, like Jameel & Buthaina, Qays & Laila, and Antara & 'Abla, just to name a few, and anyone who has read those classics would notice the striking resemblance!
Of course, we have the greatest teacher of love and the greatest love story of all time, the Prophet of Allah peace be upon him and Khadeejah, so we do not need to celebrate Saint Valentine's day to feel the love because no one has ever banned us from marriage like what happened at the time of Saint Valentine!
We could learn to be better lovers from the correct sources in the correct way, and we know, that it is Allah who controls the hearts, so by following his instructions on love, and pleasing him both, you will taste the sweetness of the long ever lasting true love!
It is not that Islam doesn't believe in love so Muslims don't celebrate Valentines Day and the likes. Rather, the concept of love is SO STRONG in Islam that it refuses to acknowledge anything that downgrades and cheapens this wonderful emotion.
The concept of love is SO WISE in Islam that it protects the dignity, honor and rights of both the man and the woman, and doesn't let one run away after 'having their bit of fun.'
The concept of love is SO SACRED in Islam that even feeding your wife a morsel of food is a rewarded, blessed deed. That being good to your husband can be a doorway to Paradise!
The concept of love is SO PRACTICAL in Islam that it is not dependant on gimmicks and commercial promotion. Rather, it is lived through honesty, gentleness and affection each day of the year, each moment of life.
Actually the concept of love is SO AMAZING in Islam that it doesn't end with this worldly life, rather it binds the hearts that love each other in His Obedience in this life and beyond! A story that perseveres in worldly life and then will enjoy permanent bliss in the hereafter.
And how shall it not be, when Islam is itself from Allah AL-WADOOD, Allah the Most Loving, the Source of all love, the Bestower of this wonderful gift!
There is no faith that advocates love more justly, more deeply than Islam. It celebrates it... wholly and eternally, and doesn't need the world to say when exactly and how exactly it should be expressed!
